Position Summary: You will be expected to market the product and services of SUNU Health and build its client base.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the business development and marketing of the company to meet and exceed set global target.
  • Assist in the development of new health products and services for the formal and informal sector.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations to clients and prospective customers on SUNU Health Products
  • Work towards the achievement of SUNU strategic objectives
  • Participate in preparation of Service Level Agreements and ensure endorsement from authorized signatories
  • Prepare quotation for prospective clients.
  • Participate in health insurance contract bidding documentations and process.
  • Collate market feedbacks regarding competition and prospects needs.
  • Participate in implementation of business plans.
  • Provide input for development of content for new product and services.
  • Penetration of new markets.
  • Prepare and present business development report to line manager.
  • Engage in market research, business forecast and development activities to continually identify business challenges and proffer solutions.

Position Summary: You will be expected to coordinate activities of care-coordinators in the Contact Centre.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Vet NHIA and PHIS claims according to agreed tariff and NHIA/SUNU Health guidelines and protocols.
•    Participate in provider forum to enlighten providers on SUNU guidelines and protocols. 
•    Participate in providers’ satisfaction survey biannually.
•    Negotiate cost of care to enrolees.
•    Provide clients with product and services information
•    Attend to calls, SMS messages, WhatsApp and email messages from enrolees, providers and other stakeholders 
•    Collate and document enrolees information in relevant format.
•    Proffer referral centre and give authorization codes where necessary.
•    Identify and escalate priority issues
•    Follow up customer calls where necessary
•    Participate in development of Contact Centre protocol for answering calls, emails, WhatsApp
•    Coordinate responses to customer enquiries (internal and external).
•    Coordinate the handling and resolution of customer complaints directed to the Centre.
•    Coordinate completion of call logs and produce call reports 
•    Maintain complaints file (NHIA)
•    Coordinate issuance of authorization codes.
•    Participate in medical outreach programmes: health talks, marketing presentation and enrolee enlightenment.
•    Work with Network and Claims departments to reconcile providers account.

Position Summary: You will be expected to carry-out activities of claims processing, vetting and quality assurance as related to enrolee and Provider management.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Ensure best practices are adhered to in quality of care administrated to SUNU enrolees following standard treatment guidelines and NHIA and SUNU Health protocols. 
•    Authorise/vet NHIA and PHIS claims according to agreed tariff and NHIA/SUNU Health guidelines and protocols.
•    Participate in provider forum to enlighten providers on SUNU guidelines and protocols. 
•    Conduct providers’ satisfaction survey biannually.
•    Provide quality assurance support in re-accreditation/accreditation & maintain set guidelines and protocol.
•    Carry out quality assurance services. 
•    Visit of enrolee with serious medical condition to confirm quality of care. 
•    Track and manage all providers and complaints.
•    Track and manage fraudulent codes according to SUNU Health guideline and standard protocol.
•    Participate in medical outreach, wellness and health seminar for clients.
•    Participate in development of benefit package and health products. 
•    Provide support to business retention and business development when need arises
•    Medical verification of bills to ensure adequate treatment.
•    Monitor mode and manner of medical care rendered by providers.  
•    Participate in reconciliation of payments with providers 
•    Liaise with Retention department to ensure accuracy of enrollee information.
•    Liaise with retention department to ensure satisfaction of enrollee in hospital following treatment   
•    Checking of enrollee status and approval.
•    Receive and print bills sent via email. 
•    Process NHIS capitation
•    Attend to calls from enrollees providers 
•    Carry out enrollee enlightenment forum on the operation of NHIA
•    Prepare reports relating to SUNU and NHIA activities. 
•    Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management.
